Clear Braces

They operate in the same way as conventional braces, but the materials they are built from make them less noticeable. Materials such as tooth-colored porcelain and ceramic. Our office only uses the highest quality clear braces by 3M and Ormco. Other than their appearance, Clear Braces function in almost every way like traditional metal braces. They use a system of adjustable wires and brackets to slowly move your teeth into alignment so you can have a perfect smile.

The most attractive benefit is the translucent, near-invisible appearance. However, the benefits do not end there. They are fixed to your teeth, like traditional braces. Unlike, Invisalign clear aligners you cannot remove them and accidentally forget to wear them. This ensures that your treatment always progresses and does not suffer any delays as can happen with clear aligners if you do not wear them all the time.

Absolutely! Both the braces and the materials used to affix them to your teeth are clear. Only the wire can sometimes be visible. We only use the highest quality ceramic braces that do not discolor during treatment.

They can be slightly more expensive. For only a couple of hundred dollars more you can enjoy the benefit of clear braces. They aren’t as durable as metal braces and thus are at a higher risk of breaking and needing to be repaired or replaced. We, therefore, do not recommend clear braces for young children.
