In 2017 Invisalign® lost its patent on clear aligners. Since then, other companies have created generic clear aligners. Some of these generic aligners are better than Invisalign.
Dr Broess uses 3M Clarity™ Aligners. The 3M clarity aligners are in many ways superior to Invisalign aligners and are less expensive as well.
3M offers various material thickness for their aligners helping to move the teeth more efficiently and faster. With the 3M aligners there is less need for bulky attachments and the 3M clear aligners are more resistant to staining. Most treatments with 3M Clarity aligners are less than 12-14 months.
Unless you want the Invisalign brand name 3M Clarity clear aligners will move your teeth often better for less.
This system take advantage of 3D imaging technology to produce a clear aligner that is perfectly fitted to your teeth. Every aligner is computer designed and with 3D printing technology made to fit seamlessly over your teeth. Their clear material makes them nearly invisible, while their precision fit makes them one of the most effective clear orthodontic treatments out there. Patients will have to wear the aligners for no less than 20 hours every day. Clear aligners make it possible to continue enjoying your favorite meals without having to fight with metal braces and brackets.
These high-quality clear aligner options work similar to Invisalign® and are just as effective at orthodontically moving teeth. Although Invisalign has the name recognition, its cost is significantly higher than these alternatives.
Call to schedule your initial consultation to see if we can save you some money by going with a generic clear aligners system.
At your initial visit, Dr. Broess will determine if you are a good candidate for clear aligners. Once you’ve decided to go forth with this treatment, a 3D image of your teeth will be taken so your alignment trays can be designed. The next step involves the creation of your first set of trays and teaching you how to use them. Once you receive them, you’ll start wearing them for no less than 20 hours a day, changing them as instructed by Dr. Broess.
